Sri Saibaba Mandir with the help of volunteers and support of the devotees participates in various philanthropic events such as "Adopt A Family", "Meals on Wheels", "Coats for Kids", "Second Harvest Food Drives", "Loaves and Fishes" along with food shelf and other initiatives.

With the grace and blessings of Saibaba, the Prayer Center volunteers have been participating, since 2002, in Adopt-A-Family program with the generous contributions and help from Sai devotees. In this program, the Prayer Center is working with local Church "Kinship of Greater Minneapolis" to help a few needy children by fulfilling the family wish list consisting of items such as clothes, toys, small appliances and other gift items befitting the Holidays.
The Saibaba Mandir participated every year from 2002 till 2010 and has received letters of appreciation for its participation.
Sri Saibaba Mandir has worked with Second Harvest Heartland in conducting food drives. Many Minnesotans rely upon local food shelves to help feed their families. There has been an ever increasing demand in area food shelf visits.
Sri Saibaba Mandir has conducted multiple food drives every year since 2008 and has received several letters of appreciation in this regard.
1. Operation Warm Coats for kids with the Salvation Army.
2. Samarthanam Trust for the disabled: Shirdi Saibaba Mandir donated $1000 to help disabled children in January 2017.
3. Sankara Eye Foundation: With the help of devotees contributions, our Mandir raised and donated $3280 to the Sankara Eye Foundation.
